Some people may think graphic design is simple but you actually need to learn a lot of information and learn new skills in order to make clients happy of your work. It communicates through images and words. The most important role is to understand the material that they are trying to communicate. People may not realize that we see graphic design everywhere in our daily lives. Every design we see has a meaning, without a meaning it’s nothing. Graphic designers try to make unique designs. Graphic design applies to typography, visual hierarchy and page layouts. When doing a project you need to gather information and use different materials. Being a graphic designer you can work in different jobs.

The Process of Graphic Design(3:07)
The process isn’t only about being beautiful, the main point you aiming are the audience your sending message to and if they can understand the message. Something it’s your client tells you what to design and you have to have a clear way to achieve that point. Also when showing your work to others, they can give you feedback and you can fix it make the design better.
What is Graphic Design(3:15)
After the video, I thought to myself that Graphic Design aren’t just designing things because everyone can design in anyway,but the main idea was the scene of communications you provide to the people. Like what the video said, when you understand the material then you make an appropriate and unique design that communicates the content.
The Process of Graphic Design
What the first thing comes to mind is the designer thinks about the design that the client wants. The designer thinks how the client is going to take out of the design. When creating a design they can be more than one design but you have to see which one would fit more to what the client wants. The designer has to think on how to come up with the design and what are the main thing that it’s going to get out of this because if the audience do not understand it then the designer has to change the design and see what it is they can make the audience understand what the meaning of the design is.
What is Graphic Design ?
What I thought about this that Graphic Design as more to what people think. It could be that people are not interested in graphic design or because they do not know what goes behind all the design. Graphic Design has a lot to do creatively and thought into the design they are making and so much more. Each design has its own creative way and has its own meaning to it. How the design has to communicate with the images and words so the person seeing it can understand the design. Graphic Designers also have to understand what kind of design they are trying to create and has to have a meaning behind to the design.

It’s where the designer lays out different designs and making a design that is more suitable for their client and the target audience. What I think a lot of people don’t realize is that the work of a Graphic Designer is not as simple as it seems. It requires a lot of thought and patience. As the video said, designers would have to go back and forth on a certain design. When it comes to making the designs, it can’t just look aesthetically pleasing, it has to make sense to the target audience. What would be the point of something that looks nice but has no meaning to it? Design is found everywhere, it is apart of someone’s everyday life. It is found at your supermarket, phones, applications, even train stations.

After I watched the video I do get the ideas of a graphic design because years ago , the idea about graphic design was just a unique word or icon they created and letting people seeing them then people will remember them, are way of remembering the creator, for example the apple icon, when you see that icon your mind pops up a lot of ideas, iPhone,mac,watch,headphone,siri, Steve Jobs, and most importantly fashion. The idea of that little word or icon let people following their foot steps.
As now I learned something from the video the that being a graphic design isn’t just about design logos, it more than that you might wants to tell a story to people as a way to communicating through visual languages. Also at the end he guys talked about the first step about “what’s the right mood… right elements.”
My question: How long does it takes of design an actually good logos or icon that can stick to peoples mind for a long time..

According to “The Progress Of Graphic Design” I learned that graphic designer often starts with questioning themselves with what brief or what is the main point is this pieces is about.But before that the designer also have to consider who is the audience that will look at their piece. There is also some designer who just do what the client ask them to do. In addition, one of the method to help designer to create work they uses scenario planning which comes from interaction design.
What is graphic design?
After watching the video I understand that a graphic design is like a books and record covers, and it contains many different facets like forms of architecture. And one of the most important thing in graphic design is to communicates and to understand the materials that they are trying to communicate with, then create something unique and appropriate from it . There are any things that are being design by graphic designer such as a web, sign,logos, airport, buildings, or etc.
