The Process of Graphic Design

The process of a graphic design begins with a brief that writing down the basic things about the project. It will include the clients’ information, what kind of audience should be targeted, how much time would be, and what is the specifics budget. After done with a brief, designers may research the information from the outline and come out with a concept. They may determine the concept with clients and start brainstorming ideas down. Next, the ideas that the designer would consider the tops would show to the clients for taking advice to revise. Afterward, the production could show to the audience.

What Is Graphic Design

Graphic Designer does more than I thought while I was watching the video. We can see it everywhere in our life. Graphic design is visual art that conveys and communicate a message or the content of the product to specific audiences through designing book covers, posters, web sites, and magazine, etc. Designers may get a concept from the client and discuss more information with them. They must be recognized by their materials as well and solve the problems. And make a decent and unique design to catch the audiences’ eyes, make sure that the correct information is well conveyed.

What A Graphic Designer Does

The video “What is graphic design … what a graphic designer does from Design Council.” told me very precise details about what a graphic designer does in their work. Graphic designers would take ideas from their clients and make things look good, clear, and attracted the audiences. Every asset (elements, logo, typefaces, and color, etc.) is considered to be effectively making a great product. They discussed with clients and research a lot of information about the marketplace what kind of design would draw the audiences‘ eyes.
I learned a lot when I watched the video because I did not know the graphics designers would do a lot of research before and communicate with others to frame creative work. They would look for other works that could inspire new ideas in their mind. I thought graphic design is kind of the same as fine art, both of them are creative but fine art is created by the artists’ inspiration and emotion. Designers have created works by others’ requests and audiences’ needs. I wonder if the designers did the same things as artists what would happen?
