Hello! My name is Melania. I chose this course because I have a great interest in art and animation and I would be able to fulfill my credits while doing something I enjoy. I am currently interested in mixed media style animations, cel animation, and more modern styles. Some examples of works I like are Arcane, Into the Spiderverse, and Princess Mononoke. I’m majoring in Science in health. My current goal is to successfully get through this semester with good grades. A few fun facts about me are that I have a dog named Tobi, I paint regularly, I collect different kinds of manga (currently trying to get all of the Nana volumes), and I love studying different types of flowers.

My name is Taylor Fields-Scott. I chose this course to learn how and why animation is so important. I grew up watching so many different styles and genres of animation. I am interested in the early Disney era of animation. Despite the time, they were able to create such complex work. My major is Multimedia Programming & Design. I am not so sure what I want to do in the future, but I do know I want a career in media and/or tech. I like playing reading, and watching new movies. I have 4 cats and my favorite food is any kind of sandwich.

My favorite animated film is Coraline. The story and animation design is comforting. I loved the way the characters were designed and moved. The studio that made the film is Laika, it took them 4 years to produce the film, it was released in 2009.
Hi my name is Julius. I picked this course to learn a bit more about the history and culture surrounding my major. I am mostly into 2d animation. I am trying to learn impact frames and fight scenes currently. I am hoping to someday pursue tattoo art and animation
