The Library Peer Ambassador program is a student-led, student-centered cohort designed to cultivate belonging, professional development, and intellectual curiosity for both cohort members and the students the cohort serves. The cohort collaborates with and is facilitated by BMCC Librarians. We aim to innovate library programs and services, namely in the following three areas: hospitality, outreach, and knowledge creation.
This site extends our work in these areas and creates opportunity for the broader BMCC student community to engage and learning about the Library Peer Ambassador program.

The Office of Student Activities (OSA) is responsible for promoting extracurricular and co-curricular programs that complement and enhance each student’s academic experience and personal development. Specifically, this office works closely with the Student Government Association, student clubs and organizations, and the Office of Student Affairs to provide the college with cultural, educational, and social programs. In addition, the OSA serves as a planning resource for campus events; supervises the campus posting policy and offers leadership training to students.

The Achievers is a cohort that honors and serves students who have demonstrated academic excellence while at BMCC. The Achievers community nurtures our students’ potential and creates programming that is reflective of their needs and interests; these include social activities, professional development, transfer readiness, and trips.
Student members have the opportunity to provide stewardship by planning and/or leading their own workshops based on their expertise. We honor each student’s unique gifts, experiences, and hopes. Active members of Achievers can build important relationships and networks that will benefit them as they graduate, transfer, and begin their careers.
