Depop Digital Marketing Project

For this project, my group and I conducted a full website audit of Depop, a popular social shopping platform known for buying and selling secondhand fashion. The goal of this assignment was to analyze how well Depop’s website performs from a digital marketing perspective and how effectively it connects with its target audience. Throughout our audit, we looked at important elements like the website’s design, ease of navigation, mobile experience, and overall user journey. We also evaluated Depop’s branding, content, and how engaging the site is for users. In addition, we explored technical aspects such as SEO, site speed, and accessibility to understand how these factors impact traffic and performance. Based on our findings, we developed realistic and actionable recommendations that could help improve user experience, increase engagement, and boost conversions. We also focused on how Depop maintains its community-driven feel and appeals to Gen Z consumers, which is a major part of its brand identity.
