I am a BMCC student, majoring in Early Childhood Education. I want to receive an associate’s degree and transfer to a four-year university. I plan to go to City College to earn a bachelor’s degree in Infant and Toddlers. My pedagogy is to provide respect, love, and support to young children and their families. As a Lead teacher, I want to build a trusting relationship with the children and families. Have a classroom filled with the appropriate playing materials, activities, and other sources to support young children’s early development. I will have small groups, large groups, and one-on-one instruction to assist the children with any delays in the different areas of development. As a young child myself, I love playing with dolls, a kitchen set, dancing, reading books, and creating art. I will implement all these in my classroom for the children. For the adults in the children’s lives, I will host a meeting, provide daily updates, share resources, and invitation to the classroom for fun events. My passion is to teach young scholars and assist them in advancing early development, and to show a great heart.
