Come to a FREE certification workshop this summer and get an official certification that will deepen your skills and knowledge in a software related to your career path and that you can put on your resume.
Three workshops will be offered:
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe After Effects
- AVID Media Composer
- AVID Pro Tools
- Game Audio with Pro Tools
Format
There are both in-person and online workshops. The in-person workshops and certification tests will be held on the BMCC Campus.
The online workshops will be held virtually on Zoom or similar software. Certification testing will also be done virtually in a proctored (monitored) virtual environment.
Cost: Free
The workshops are completely free! There is also no cost for the certification testing.
Equipment
In-Person Workshops
Class sessions and testing will be held on campus in a classroom at BMCC.
Online Workshops
All participants will be provided Macbook Pro laptops by the College with the appropriate software. You will need to pick up the laptop before the workshop starts on January 7.

Who is Eligible?
In order to participate in the workshop you must meet the following criteria:
[1] Be one of the the following majors:
ANI: Animation and Motion Graphics
MMD: Multimedia Programming and Design
VAT: Video Arts and Technology
[2] Have taken a related class.
