Catholic Charities Proudly announces their brand New Talent Program

In Partnership with Alianza Division We Created a Talent Program for Kids of All Ages that will Secure Limitless Opportunities in our Community

Catholic Charities Community Services is an organization that seeks to ensure the security and well-being of the most vulnerable members of our society. Not only do we provide food and shelter for those who need it, but we are always in the search of guaranteeing the resources and opportunities that will improve living conditions and positively impact the populations’ lives. As we all might be aware, the most effective way to create a significant change in our society begins with our children’s education. That’s why we decided to incorporate a new talent program for our youth in Alianza’s division. Alianzas Talent Program for the youth will enhance kids’ talents as well as open new paths of cultural representation for our country’s future.

This program will include a broad range of activities, such as dancing, painting, writing, acting, singing, modeling, and even crafting, to mention a few. We have teachers and mentors from all parts of the world ensuring the welcoming of students from all backgrounds. Since the program is in its beginnings we will start completely online, but we do have plans to open a facility for people to take in person classes in the near future. It will also be very affordable, so the only thing families will have to worry about is to be disciplined in managing their time in order to cultivate their kids’ talents.

Executive Director, Beatriz Diaz Taveras who has held management positions with Catholic Charities for more than 20 years, has claimed that this imperative take of action in the organization will drive young people to be more active and passionate about all different kinds of arts, and similarly acquired skills that will help them deliver important developments for their families and their the communities. “Alianzas Talent Program has been created as a response to the world’s crisis we’ve experienced in recent years, to bring out our youth’s special skills and talents and allow them to enjoy the arts while building strong foundations they can take advantage of moving forward.”

Alianza Dominicana Cultural Center https://cccsny.org/services/alianza-dominicana-cultural-center is a multi-disciplinary arts center in Washington Heights that showcases contemporary and classical Dominican and Latin American art, dance and music. Intergenerational learning, transnational and cross-cultural activities are the philosophical guidepost of the Center. Lessons and workshops in computer, arts making, popular and traditional dances and Afro-Latin percussion, as well as literary conferences, music and theatrical performances are provided free of charge. In addition, the Cultural Center is home to a state-of-the-art computer lab funded by Charter Communications.

Save the Children was the first global movement for children, boldly declaring that children have rights.

Today, we champion the rights of the world’s 2.3 billion children.

Believe it or not, in 1919, when Eglantyne Jebb founded Save the Children, her conviction that children have the right to grow up healthy, educated and safe was not a mainstream idea.

Much has changed since then. The UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, based on our founder’s declaration, is now the most universally accepted human rights treaty in history. And, through our work in the United States and around the world, we’ve changed the lives of over 1 billion children.

We work in over 100 countries, doing whatever it takes — every day and in times of crisis — to give children a healthy start in life, the opportunity to learn and protection from harm.

Thanks to our supporters, we achieve tremendous results for children. In 2021 alone, we reached more than 183 million children, including 837,000 here in America.

As the world’s leading expert on childhood, we believe that every child deserves a future. This belief is at the heart of everything we do. We know you share it, too.

We work in the hardest-to-reach places, where it’s toughest to be a child.

When you give to Save the Children, 85% of every dollar goes straight to our mission to provide lifesaving relief to children.

$50 can provide enough food to keep 3 children from going hungry for a month

$150 can wrap 30 warm, cozy blankets around children affected by conflict

$300 can provide 150 face masks to refugee health workers on the front lines

With your support, we can continue our work to keep children in the U.S. and around the world healthy, educated and safe.

We are global leaders in child  health, education and protection.

We have a proven track record of using donations efficiently and effectively to change children’s lives.

We’re transforming the way emergency care is delivered, putting world-class health professionals to work for children in crisis anywhere in the world within 72 hours. We champion gender equality, recently earning the first nonprofit Gender Fair certification. We work in the United States, helping more children get ready for kindergarten than any other nonprofit and as the national leader in protecting children in emergencies.

We work in the hardest-to-reach places, where it’s toughest to be a child.

The scale of crisis in the world has increased exponentially in recent years. There are more children living in conflict and war zones now than at any time in the past 20 years, as well as more child refugees. Natural disasters are not only more frequent, but more severe. As always, children in crisis are among the most vulnerable.

In particular, the more than 12 million refugee boys and girls now face a triple jeopardy. Not only have they lost their homes and lost their education, they now face the additional impact of COVID-19 on their futures.

As the world leader in protecting children from the physical and emotional wounds of war, Save the Children been a lifeline for families fleeing violence in Syria, Venezuela, Myanmar and dozens of other crises around the world.

And as the largest aid organization in Yemen, we helped 1.7 million children, supported 88 health facilities and 23 hospitals just last year.

A child’s right to an education does not end in times of emergency. That’s why we’re focused on return to education, helping more children in crisis recover and return to learning than any other global humanitarian organization.

1-800- BALL DROP

NYC 2023 BALL DROP

It’s that time of the year to come out and celebrate the coming of a new year with friends and family.

New York City is one of the best places to be to break in the new year’s as it is known for its iconic ball drop event at the famous Times Square. Entry points will be set up at Sixth Avenue and Eighth Avenue between 38th and 56th Streets. It is an event that can be celebrated with friends and family of all ages. This memorable event is one that is free, but it comes down to a first come first serve basis as space is limited, so be there early to save yourself a space to celebrate at this in-demand event.

Everyone that attended this event in the past years described the moment of the ball drop to be magical and memorable and felt as if the confetti falling are shooting stars in which they can make a wish that the new year is prosperous for not only them but for their loved ones. The event is one that is done every year.

About us:

  • Located on the roof of One Times Square building, a ball that is a prominent part of a New Year’s Eve celebration in Times Square is used for commonly referred to as the ball drop event, it is where the ball descends a specially designed flagpole, beginning at 11:59:00 p.m. ET, and resting at midnight to signal the start of the new year.
  • In 1903, The New York Times newspaper was about to open its new headquarters, the city’s second tallest building, in what was then known as Longacre Square. The paper’s owner, Adolph Ochs, decided to commemorate their opening with mid-night fireworks show on the roof of the building on December 31, 1903, and this is when the ball drop was created.

Promotion Assignment – Toyota

 For Immediate Release:

Ivan Ramos

Toyota

Plano, Texas

(123) 456-7890

Here’s what’s new at Toyota for the 2023 model year, including the GR Corolla hot hatch, the Crown sedan, and a new Sequoia SUV. Toyota’s most highly anticipated 2023 vehicles include two enthusiast specials: a manual-transmission GR Supra and the GR Corolla.

With the holidays upon us, Toyota is celebrating the joy of the season with a special message about spreading kindness. “Like No One’s Watching,” the first of two Toyota holiday ads, debuted last night during NBC’s primetime special, “Christmas in Rockefeller Center,” with a personalized throw from a show host.

Stellantis said it would expand its partnership with Toyota Motor Europe (TME) with a new large commercial van, including an electric version. “Planned for mid-2024, the new large-size commercial van marks TME’s first entry into the large-size commercial vehicle segment,” Stellantis added in a statement. Carmakers have increasingly been agreeing cross-manufacturing deals to reduce costs in vans, which due to a boom in parcel delivery are seeing large demand — and where electric vehicle versions are also seeing rising sales to carry out “last-mile” deliveries in city centers.

As we make changes to our business model, it is crucial that we go back to the basics, that is, our roots, the role Toyota should play and consider how we should proceed, for example, in the advancement in electrification. Given that people can only contribute to the environment when eco-friendly technologies are widely used, we realized that we need to embrace fresh ideas and new ways of thinking.

There is no denying that the Toyota leads the way as a popular choice for buyers looking to buy new Toyotas each year. Toyota is an award winning family. In 2022 Toyota was number the one Best Resale Value. 2022 Toyota Received the lowest 5-Year Cost to Own Award for Overall Brand. And we achieved 2022 Brand Image Award Winner – Best Overall Truck Brand, According to Kelley Blue Book’s KBB.com.

We believe we can and will do great things. We are a company driven by imagination, experimentation, humility, respect and innovation. And we believe it is people, our people, who will go the extra mile to deliver to our customers all that Toyota promises to be, today and into the future. It’s about integrity. We look forward to providing great best in class vehicles, services and software in 2023. Stay tuned!
