NAMI Seed of Hope Gala Sponsor

Tony and Mary Ann Pasquinelli Foundation,

We invite XX to join us as a key partner for Seeds of Hope: Celebrating 40 Years of Families
Helping Families on October 3, 2022 at Capitale in lower Manhattan. As a partner firmly
committed to helping individuals and their families access critical mental health supports, we
hope you invest in our work by becoming a sponsor and making a contribution of $10,000 at the
Gold Level.
For 40 years, the National Alliance on Mental Illness of New York City (NAMI-NYC) has
helped families and individuals affected by mental illness build better lives. Thanks to partners
like you, last year, our free education, support, and advocacy programs reached more New
Yorkers than ever before, touching the lives of 30,000 people.
As we commemorate our 40th anniversary, your investments will enable us to continue to stand
side by side with individuals and their families impacted by mental illness. Struggling with the
loss of loved ones during the COVID-19 pandemic, social isolation, rising food and housing
insecurity, and increased mental health challenges — more people than ever before need our
critical services. With your support, we aim to double our impact by providing vital
programming and advocacy to 70,000 individuals and families by 2024.
Our Seeds of Hope Event funds nearly one-third of our yearly programming. Your contributions
will also enable us to scale our peer-led model and family focus to increase our impact in
underserved and marginalized communities, fight and advocate for a just mental health system,
create and expand service offerings to meet the changing needs of our participants, and
transform our organizational infrastructure to maximize our reach.
The enclosed form describes the ways in which you can support NAMI-NYC. For more
information, please contact Sarah Sheahan at (212) 417-0960 or ssheahan@naminyc.org.
Together, we can continue to create a safe space where individuals and family members can
support each other, and fight for a just mental health system where those in need get the support
and resources they deserve.
Sincerely,

NAMI Young Professional Team
