I am Larissa Barba and I am a student in the Early Childhood Education (ECE) program in the Teacher Education Department at Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC). In the ECE program, my specialization is preschool-age children.

I have chosen to become a teacher because I am passionate about helping children reach their potential and make discoveries. I am hoping that after I conclude my degree at BMCC I will go on to a senior college and complete a bachelor’s degree in teaching.
