• The lack of culturally responsive teaching on students’ social-emotional development in early childhood education
• Children are not given an opportunity for a diverse environment or allowed to for their sense of identity in classroom setting
• Families are being affected because educators are not making the effort to learn about the family’s background, culture, values and there is no open communication among the two
• Communities will be affected individuals can lose their sense of identity
• Our future generations are affected by this issue due to standardized curriculums and not incorporating a more open diverse environment
• As soon as children enter school, cultural responsive teaching should be incorporated into their curriculum and setting
• This must be worked on sooner rather than later to avoid stereotyping, loss of identity and group separation among students
• Fixing curriculums to incorporate CRT and environments will allow students to become aware of the importance of other cultures and seeing their own will allow for them to feel accepted and prideful
• Plan teacher workshops to get them more educated that incorporate families since they provide first-hand knowledge
