Jody CulkinParticipantUse Adobe Animate to create an animation of a ball falling from a cliff and bouncing a few times before coming to a stop. Apply the squash & stretch and slow-in & slow-out principles you used for your last assignment AND carefully apply 2 more: arcs, and timing. Anticipation can also enhance your animation (i.e: have the ball hover at the edge of the cliff before falling, have the ball move back and forth very slightly a few times before coming to a full stop etc.).
Full description of the assignment is here.
Your post should include a link to your Vimeo or Youtube video as well as a short description (reflections on your process, challenges, goals etc. are also welcome).

EssentiaParticipantIt was really a joy being able to create a second ball study animation. It took me at least an hour to complete, with the background of a desert featuring two cactus’s. The ball bounces from the left in the middle to almost the end of the right side. I drew the arc indicating the balls movement and the point where the ball stops moving. It was really fun doing this assignment as usual!

Michelle LimaParticipantMy second ball bounce animation for the class~ I think as time goes on, I’ll get used to working with adobe animate, but I’d like to think I’m starting to get the hang of it. As shown, the red ball bounces along the outline of the blue are, while maintaining a bounce for each arc.

NoahParticipantAfter 6 years my computer decided to take the long dirt nap, so I lost Adobe this week. I created this in a pinch on a mobile program called “Animation Desk”. It is a dirty hand-drawn animation (straight ahead) that has multiple arches then loops. Enjoy.
