How can students post media files on their Open Lab course site?

you can find out a lot by viewing the tutorials to Open Lab on the City Tech website. I will post some of those tutorials here on our course site, but you can also google the information.

BMCC Open Lab uses Word Press to create posts and pages, but because it is hosted on the BMCC website, there are some limitations.

For example, storage space is limited, so it’s better to create your video on either Vimeo or YouTube (you can make it private on either of those sites) and then post a link to it, rather than embedding it in your post. A presentation can be created on Google Docs or Google Slides or Prezi, and then also linked, rather than embedded.

There are excellent tutorials available from City Tech on how to use both the Classic and Block editors on Open Lab and how to add files, photos, presentations, and video.
