Hello colleagues in Artificial Intelligence in Education,
I’m reaching out to invite collaboration with instructors and programs that want to bring AI-enabled scientific computing workflows into the classroom—through assignments, demos, student mini-projects, and small-scale research experiences.
I’m the PI of the NAIRR Classroom Pilot project NAIRR240389: “Computer Methods for Science: Utilizing Advanced Computational Resources for AI in Scientific Research.” The goal is to help students and researchers learn how modern AI + advanced computing resources are used in real scientific practice—especially for preparing datasets, running notebook-based workflows, and testing small simulations and analyses.
Classroom resources available under the project include:
1) Indiana Jetstream2 GPU
2) NIH Cloud Lab
3) Prototype National Research Platform (PNRP) Classroom
4)Vocareum AI Notebook
If you’d like to explore joint activities (shared assignments, demos, student projects, or cross-institution collaboration), please comment or message me. I’d love to connect with colleagues so we can help each other and build best practices.
First step for access: register with ACCESS
https://operations.access-ci.org/identity/new-user
Then I can add you to the NAIRR240389 project.
Looking forward to connecting!
