Gender Binary is described as “The idea that there are only two genders is sometimes called a “gender binary,” because binary means “having two parts” (male and female). In our society the straight gender have more value than transgender. People misunderstood those who are not straight. Most people – including most transgender people – are either male or female. But some people don’t neatly fit into the categories of “man” or “woman,” or “male” or “female.” For example, some people have a gender that blends elements of being a man or a woman, or a gender that is different than either male or female. Some people don’t identify with any gender. Some people’s gender changes over time. And they called Binary gender. Society like ours only know two gender. Male and Female. Some of them not all of them make their own body like that. Everyone should try to talk to them to learn more about who they are.

Gender/Sex/Sexuality & Feminism

Both articles are talked about Sex and gender. The priority of each gender. I believe that so many people still don’t know the difference between sex and gender. Sex and gender are not the same think. Article mentioned that ” Biological sex is universal. Biological sex remains static across time periods”. We can know if it’s a boy or girl based on their external genitalia. But as they grow up children are socialized based on the gender roles of the culture they born into. Different countries have different culture. In America boys are taught and expected to be tough, strong, leader, loud and ,messy. on the other hand girls are should be easy going, smooth, soft and pretty.

Feminism is women’s right on the basis of the equality of the sexes. It’s a movement to end sexism. In this era still so many people thinks that feminism is women seeking to be equal to men. Also many of the people think that women’s are only for household work, while women’s are working outside and doing so many good things for their family and the society. As the feminism progressed people learn to think that men are not the only society who should act or behave certain way. So many different countries woman are still treated differently than men. But everyone should be aware of that. Every gender deserve to be treated equally.
