This picture speaks very loud. Women working in factories in order to provide some type of income to their families. Getting paid merely cents for a day’s work under horrible conditions, with no benefits or health care. This is the real life of these women. These types of conditions while the merchandise they are helping make says “Smash the patriarchy” . Kind of ironic, as it is the patriarchy that is putting down these women and having them work under these life risking conditions. They take advantage of them because they know that these women can be easily replaced. But on the other side of the world you have women wearing these shirts and going out to protest and stand up for women in general, so that one day those same women who helped make these shirts will have the equality they deserve.
