Summary

The article, Nature vs Nurture by Kendra Cherry, questions the roles Nature and Nurture have in shaping our individualism and personalities that we develop throughout our lifespan. Nature refers to hereditary, lineage, the biological factors that are passed on from parents and inherited by their children. Some genetically inherited genes that effect personality could be caused by disease, disorder, and chemicals associated with electrical impulse in our nervous system. Nurture depends on a person’s environment that they are incorporated into, the life experiences subjected to, interactions and social relationships, social economic status and the surrounding culture/cultures that shape an individual's personality.
