CHEKOV: Marriage proposal

Marriage proposals can be ludicrous and defiant at times, as Anton Chekov’s play “Marriage Proposals” shows and concludes. Unfortunately, we live in a society where marriage is more focused on images or materialistic objects than on affection and consideration. Furthermore, nowadays, choosing rings, proposing, and having everything appear great for photos is more of a man’s obligation than making it feel heartfelt based on what the lady wants. I feel that communication is essential in every relationship, and that marriage should be considered first, with the couple deciding on how to propose. He explains how, regardless of their reasons or circumstances, people would rather be proposed to than hash out their issues and put them behind them.

The horror of Frankenstein

In Mary Shelley’s novel “Frankenstein,” I would define the scenario as one of a “fabricating” that was imagined and designed to be ideal but was neglected by his maker and humanity. Victor, who had at long last realized his lifelong dream of employing science to create true existence. Due to the way Frankenstein seems and behaves, the creator begins to regret his decision to make him. Victor is haunted by Frankenstein, and when he dies, he leaves Walton his wish to kill him. Despite being classified as a “monster” species and despised by even his own creator, Frankenstein laments the death of his father.Despite being regarded as evil and solely being described with adjectives like terrible and other labels that accurately reflected his lifestyle, Frankenstein nevertheless felt the pain of losing a loved one. Frankenstein disintegrated into a shell who was disoriented with himself, even after being used as a dangerous weapon. We saw how he came to the decision that he wasn’t worth living in a world that hates him because of his misery. The cherry on top was Victor’s death, which put a stop to his will to live.

According to the concept of critical disability, a person’s conduct and behaviors are influenced by how they are recognized and viewed by the society in which they live. People are more likely to act impulsively when they are treated unfairly. Because of the harsh society appraisals and sympathy it experienced as a result of its physical appearance, the monster Frankenstein was driven to murder his creator. The story is used to show how the energy mass views anything that isn’t a direct reflection of themselves as terrifying and worthy of contemplation. It shows that all he needed was one person who understood and possibly appreciated him in order to live a life free of prejudice.

CHOPIN

Kate Chopin, a white woman from the Deep South, wrote about racism in the early 1890s. I feel race plays a role in how it is written because it is written from Chopin’s perspective and she uses the moniker Negrillon in her novel. Her work, too, displays her white privilege. The author appears to be fluent in French and is aware of pricey clothing. Chopin shows off her knowledge by explaining why her husband decided to burn her silks and defines the shade ruby. When Armand realized Desire wasn’t white, he treated her differently, indicating that skin color has an impact on how people view you. Race is a sensitive and difficult subject to talk about or write about. Race is a touchy subject.

Feminism

The Thirteenth Night’s issue is due to a shift in feminine values. According to her story, Isamu’s unexpected conversion was prompted by the birth of her kid (Taro). The fact that she is “an illiterate lady” drives his violence. Despite the fact that she grew up in a time when girls were not expected to attend school and that Isamu was aware of her background when he embraced her, she refuses to go to school. He mocks Oseki for being “too foolish to confide in,” and “he keeps [her] in his house just as a nursing mother for Taro” – Oseki is regarded to be entirely incapable of performing the tasks of “wife” and “mother” as described by Meiji due to her lack of education.

Marxism In The Thirteenth Night

Isamu and Roku are both indifferent in their spouses and reckless with their homes. They are self-centered and only care about their own feelings. Because he comes from a better social group, Isamu’s life is different from Roku’s. Isamu is unhappy in his marriage because he believes his wife Oseki is stupid. That woman could be a queen or the wife of a wealthy man, in my opinion. A woman’s responsibility in such a society would be to ensure that all children are well cared for, that she looks attractive, that her partner’s needs are met, and that her own feelings and desires are not disregarded. Her life would have been different if Oseki had been with Roku, but that isn’t the case.

Government

After reading and comprehending Sherman Alexie’s “The Trial of Thomas Builds-the-Fire” and “This is What it Means to Say Phoenix, Arizona,” two apparent features emerge in this reading: which were unequal  and racial prejudice. While on trial, Thomas was attempting to understand himself and recount experiences that had influenced his life and explained why he was the way he was. “The judge was red-faced with anger; he almost looked Indian. He pounded his gavel until it broke. “Order in the court,” he shouted. “Order in the fucking court” (Alexie 146). This demonstrates Thomas’ bigotry because he was a native African American, as the judge repeatedly stated that he would not listen to his tale. “Your Honor, if I may continue, there is much more I need to say. There are so many more stories to tell” (Alexie 144).Thomas was mistreated and not charged, despite the fact that he was facing additional accusations.

parents

When speaking with small children, parents and elders in the family should be cautious. Criticizing them at an early age may have a negative impact on them. They’ll start thinking about your criticism instead of themselves, and they’ll want to change. Adults should refrain from “simply tormenting children.” It’s important to remember that adolescents don’t respond to criticism the same way adults do. When you give a child negative criticism, an adult may be able to accept his or her mistake and laugh it off, but children lack the vision required to do so. Children are kind and do not have the maturity to absorb criticism in the same manner that adults do.

where I’m from

I’m from new york

Where something wild happens everyday

But everyone still finds a way to mind their business

Where it can be 90 degrees weather

And there’s still someone out there wearing there tims

Waking up every weekends early to bhajan

And smelling the curry goat already cooking on the stove

My life right?

I am from brooklyn

Where the crackheads are up before the crack of dawn

And the ocks are ready to make you that blt

Nothing like home to me

I am a go getter

I have Perseverance

I will be successful

And nothing can stop me !
