Parents- Gorilla, my Love

I believe parents should be very careful when talking to children. Most of the time children copy the actions of their parents. So when parents lie, sugarcoat or make empty promises their children will eventually start doing the same thing. I believe that promises are important, but when words are carelessly thrown around to make a little kid happy, that child will find it hard to know the true value of words and why promises are important.

I agree with what you said in your post. Children are very impressionable and I do believe that what you said about promises being important true. Making and keeping promises is a way for children to learn and understand that their words have power.

I agree with you. I don’t see no lie in what you said! parents need to realize your kids look up to you and there actions can affect them!

Hi Deborah, I really liked how you made your post stand out from all the others with the different color background. I agree that parents shouldn’t throw around important words and phrases to children because they begin to feel that they don’t hold very much value.
