Summary
Feminism to me means equality for all genders. For me it the meaning for feminism has come from my mom's side of the family. Even if married they are all empowering women who go against the saying that women should stay home and men go do the work. I'm hispanic so toxic masculinity is something is deeply rooted in my culture despite that my mom has always told me that what my brothers can do so can I, and if anything I can do even better things. There hasn't been any gender inequality between me and my older brothers. Despite me not seeing any gender inequality in my own home I know that it exists and that someday I'm most likely going to experience it. That's why I consider myself a feminists, advocating for fair treatment on any space despite their gender, sexual orientation, race, etc. because it's not only women the one's that face discrimination on a daily.
