Feminism to me is wanting to create an equal opportunity for all genders. Breaking the stereotypes that women aren’t rich, or smart, or intelligent. Feminism to me has been around me and my family for ages. Although my mother and aunt are the only women in the household, they truly shine a brighter light on feminism to me every single day. I believe in Feminism because i not only believe that we as a society almost construct women into hard troubles, but i’ve seen it first hand and how it has affected the women in my family. Feminism as a whole is truly something amazing and i genuinely believe that we have to stop allowing the unfairness and inequality it possess on us every single day. I think in order for feminism to be more out in the open and notice in our society, is breaking the gender norms we have taught our children, and to teach our children how to accept being a person, not someone who has to act different due to their gender.
