Letter of Advice

My advice for freshmen is to start talking with advisors early and planning how many classes you should take at the beginning of the semester. As a college student, You have to balance well with work and student life. It is necessary to take care of your physical and mental well-being because college life will be exhausting. It is important to get counseling if possible. You can use BMCC resources such as the counseling center, pantry, gym and pool. Not only speaking with friends but also joining club in your school will help you a lot. BMCC is offering a lot of clubs related to your degree. Most importantly, students including me usually procrastinate a lot in the first semester and if you are submitting assignments late, it would drag some grades down. So, it is critical to plan and start early.
