I agree with Adichie’s main argument because it shows it lead her to understand the truly meaning of a single story. I can relate to Adichie’s argumentt as part for her speech as how single stories corrupts as in leads into misunderstandings or someone’s lack of knowledge into others. The relevance of the danger of a single story in our day and age is how our dignity is being taken away as us people and how it impacts from it made us feel different than being similar. I think Professor Barnes assigned this reading is really interesting is how Adichie’s perspective really captures a lot from her seeing unusal things around her, into her roomate asking her differences away from her home, rather than being judged as lead from the united states up to other counties such as Mexico to taken away the questions she kept asking if how she maintains focus grabbing away from the media as the single story was keeping lead as in trouble. The point of this story is don’t let a single story change it all of the sudden and let the primary source and truth comes in all it needs and let us more what a story means without judging as the author wisely says, “That when we reject the single story, when we realize that there is never a single story about any place, we regain a kind of paradise”.
