Summary

Hello everyone!!

My name is Leslie Zarzuela, I was born in the Dominican Republic but raised in Harlem. My first language is Spanish however I have become more fluent in English. I am twenty years old and turning 21 in July, I'm majoring in Criminal Justice, with the aspiration of joining the FBI. My love for solving crimes and making a difference in my community has always been something I've been eager to accomplish. My hobbies are dancing, doing word searches, singing, and short stories. Dancing has always been a big part of my life, I find it very therapeutic as a means to freely express myself and my culture. I honestly value word searches since they support my recollection abilities and allow me to work towards expanding my vocabulary. I enjoy writing, especially short stories, since writing short stories helps me express my imagination and feelings more constructively. Singing has always been one of my favorite pastimes and serves as a distraction whenever I'm bored. Exploring comic books and other forms of art inspires my creativity and helps me connect with different structures of art. I have also picked up journaling for about 4 years now and it honestly has become one of my favorite things to do and allows me to write without restrictions. I am excited to get to know all of you guys more and be able to learn and become more adept in writing and developing my vernacular.
