    My Reading Summary

    1. In “Feminist Economics…..” (2020) Pheko says that huge corporations have more power/influence then states — do you think that’s true?
    2. I learned that there a certain corporations that have more value that some countries entire GDP.
    3. My favorite part was when she spoke about global value chains and the concept that they can still be launched locally. My least favorite part was the end I wanted to hear more.

Some folks were asking about the origins of GDP — Where did it come from? When did we start using it? What what was it when it started? Here are some answers and! (be warned) they all have different versions of the story. Take what you like, leave the rest!
