I chose the child in the light blue dress, her skin tone is like caramel, her hair color is black the texture of her hair is curly. She has four pony tails in the front of her hair, while the sides and back is hang down by her neck. Her body type is an average size. She has two bracelet on her hands, one is pink and the other one is white. During the observation I saw the child playing in a square box in a classroom with other children. She played three different objects. She uses her cup to filled up the little boys toy he was playing with. She was bending her chest over in the box, while using hands to play, she sits on a blue chair, then she gets back up while playing in the box. The child gaze at what she was doing most of the time then she looks away as if she was looking at someone or something. Playing seemed to attract the child interest because she kept on doing it fill up her stuff over and over again. She use a chair to sit on, she played with a long white cup, a purple cup and red cup with yellow on top of it. The child seems to be having a conversation with the other kids. She looked up and looked away as if she was looking at someone. She interacts well with other kids and playful.
Hi Keneshia,
I feel like you did good! You did have a lot of incorrect sentence and wording .
Grammar *
Great observation Keneisha ! you were very detailed with this child. I loved your response
Hi Keneshia, I like how you mentioned her bracelets, the chair she sat in, and how she was playing in the box. It shows that you were paying close attention and overall it was a great observation.
I chose the child in the light blue dress, her skin tone is like caramel, her hair color is black the texture of her hair is curly. She has four pony tails in her head the rest of her hair is out,Her body type is an average size. She has two bracelet on her hands, one is pink and the other one is white, and a pink ring on her left ring finger.During the observation I saw the child playing in a square box in a classroom with other children. She played with 3 different objects. She uses her cup to filled up the little boy toy he was playing with. She was also bending her chest over box, while using her hands to play, one of the kid said i want a chair, so the teachers both gave them a chair , so when she sat on the blue chair, then she gets back up while playing in the box. The child was gazing at what she was doing most of the time then she looks away as if she was looking at someone or something. I chose this student because she remind me of my niece playing in class .I feel like it’s a good opportunity to interact with others especially when you shy
Hi Shayna
Great work. Thanks for letting me know about my grammar errors.
Hi Shayna, I had to look back at the video and see the little girls jewelry you describe on here! Great detail!!

Answer:
I chose the male child, he has on a red shirt with a long sleeve black shirt underneath, his skin tone is light, his hair color is black. The texture of his hair is straight and slick and he also has a haircut. His body size was average and norm. During the observation I saw the child playing in a square box filled with pebbles or marbles in a classroom with other children (2 females) and also with one teacher. He played with different objects/toy during his time at the square box. In the beginning he stand next to the teacher while the two other children were on the opposite side. The teacher ends up getting up leaving him alone ‘I witness him look at the teacher as she beings to leave and another new child with a pink shirt and a pink bands in a ponytail approaches and stands besides him and continues to play with all the children at the square table. The teacher comes back with one chair for the other child on the opposite side of the male child. He uses his cup to fill up the little girls toy standing across from him while she continues playing with her toy. He does not really speak to the other children during his time at the square while playing with the objects. He continues to keep playing the object then sneezes does cover his nose and whips off his nose and continues to play . the teacher was not around to tell the child to wash his hands nor did the child go wash his hands. As he continue to play with the objective with the pebbles or marbles he tends to lean his hands over and take the cup to fill from the opposite side the girl with a light blue dress on. She then screams at him for taking the pebbles or marbles form her side of the square. He seems embarrassed then continues to just take pebbles from his side and then moments later he leaves with square table lifting his shirt up
Hi Janate
I love your work. Keep up the good job.
Awesome observation.
I like how you detailed to vividly the little girl that came to sit next to him.
i really enjoyed this , you had so much details. you describe everything very well.
Hi Janata. I enjoyed reading your observation. I also enjoyed how you incorporated the others around him because it gives us a sense of not only what he’s doing but his surroundings and what may trigger him to do certain things.
hey janate
I like your observation because I also picked the little boy and you showed me that everyone looks at things differently and has a different perspective of things because there were things that you saw I saw differently or things I saw you didn’t and vice versa very good job.
Great work!!!
Peter’s Observation
During my observation with Peter I noticed he had on a black long sleeve under shirt and a short red sleeve shirt on top. He is wearing jogger pants with horizontal strips on either side. Peter has silky, shiny , straight, black hair, his skin coloring is on the yellow side/ apricot. As i observe Peter I notice he has a strong posture as the stands by the sensory table filled with colorful pebbles. Peter at the beginning of the observation interacts with the girl in the blue shirt in front of him, puts pebbles in the blue funnel with a red hoes to then drop in the girls container in her hand. They exchange putting pebbles in each others toys. The girl across from him verbally acknowledges Peter interaction with her, although he doesn’t show any facial express or verbally. Peter glances over his left shoulder when the teacher leaves and gives her seat to another female student. Peter’s attention is once again drawn back to the funnel but is now also holding a measuring cup. I notice Peter tap the top of the funnel then shakes it to. As he continues to fill the funnel, now with his hands rather than with a cup, he once again glances when he sees another one of his female students get a chair. When asked by his teacher “Peter do you want a chair” he gives a quick “no” response verbally, while shaking his head. Even though the sensory table is pushed towards him when his classmate pulls up her chair to sit, he doesn’t move or look up to see what is happening, he is very focused on what he is doing. His legs and feet are still, he only moves his hands and arms.
Peter checks his hands twice to see if any pebbles are stuck to his palm, since he is grabbing hand fulls of pebbles with his left hand. He reaches over with his left arm/ hand to obtain a different tool, he picks up a tall clear cylinder which he begins to fill with the blue measuring cup in his right hand. Peter sneezes once on the materials he is holding in his left hand, his body is shifted to the left slightly. Peter once again sneezes, this time into his right elbow, processes to wiping his mouth/ nose with his right hand sleeve. Right after he continues to play, filling the cylinder tool and tapping it on top with the cup. Peter reaches over with his right arm and begins to fill his classmates container. She quickly and loudly says “Hey I didn’t say to put some in there”, as she looks up at me, the observer. No teacher comes over to see what the commotion is about. Peter rapidly begins to scoop pebbles from across from him where his female classmate is, as he continues to do so she joins. She says out loud “hey you are taking from my spot”. Again, no teacher comes over to access the situation. Peter does not speak up or show any facial expressions during this conflict. Peter dumps the pebbles inside his tools inside the sensory table and steps back to check the floor. He then with his measuring up pushes the pebbles on the edge of the table back inside, he drops his blue cup inside the table. Peter takes a step towards the right and puts his eight hand to his forehead, takes another steps, pulls his shirt up, followed by both hands behind his neck and scratches as he walks away.
We never see the teachers come over to speak to the kids or even just stand close by as to say i am here if you need help. We also don’t see the teachers trying to engage withe Peter or any of the other children once the teacher hands them chairs and leaves the frame. When he sneezes he isn’t given a tissue or redirected to wash his hands, or ask the kids to step away from the table while they clean the materials.
I loved how you made up the name !! I waned to do this but I didnt know if it was right or wrong. I love this Maria
Hi Janate, I actually didn’t make up his name, it is said by the little girl across from him and the teacher when she asked if he wanted a chair. I just had to listen very carefully.
Glad you enjoyed my observation!!!
good job, your observation was very detailed. you even gave the little boy a name.
HI Emily, i tried to be as detailed as possible, glad it showed. I listened closely and heard his classmate and teacher call him by his name.
Hi Maria! I truly enjoyed how detail you were with your observation. 3 minutes feels like an hour when you’re being very descriptive because you don’t want to miss out on anything. I also enjoyed how at the end you pointed out how he sneezed and his teachers didn’t bother to reinforce covering his mouth, washing his hands etc. Thats a must!
Hi Taina, thank you for your response! i tried to be as detailed as i could in those three minutes, that indeed feel like an hour when you are trying to decide what you comment about.
Being clean around children is a must, at all times!!
Hi Maria,
wow! you are so descriptive ! really great job. This is awesome.
-Camila
HI Camila, thank you!
Hi Maria,
It is very good observation, especially find out his name. I though I also watched video very carefully, but I didn’t pay attention to the name.
I choose the kid who was in the sky blue dress. Her skin color is light brown, her hair is black and she has curly wavy hair. she has pony tails on her hair (4 in the front) and the rest of her hair is down . she is wearing bracelets The colors are light pink and the other is like a whitish color. While watching the child i saw that she was playing in side a box with other children. She was laying flat on the box . She was talking to the other students in the classroom. she seemed to really like playing.
Hi Emily,
I chose the same girl. I didn’t see her laying flat on the box, when did you see her do that?
-Camila
Which child did you chose? Describe the child’s appearance (clothing, facial features, skin tone, hair color, hair texture, hair style, body type, etc.).
I choose the boy. His name is Peter. Teacher called his name two times. He was very serious about his job. He wore the red shirt and black shirt underneath. His ethnicity is Asian. His skin tone is Asia skin tone and hair color is black. His hair is soft and straight. His body type is slim. He looked unhappy or sick at that time because he was attention only at that toy and he didn’t speak anything with his friends.
What did the child do during the observation?
I saw he played with three toys within 2 and half minutes. His observation is to fill the pebbles into the containers step by step.
How did the child move — include all types of movements?
He moved because in front of a blue color dress girl complained to him.
What did the child look at, gaze at?
The child looked at the container and pebbles.
What seemed to attract the child’s interest? How can you tell?
The child’s interest is the relationship between the container and pebbles. First, he used the funnel for a blue cup to fill pebbles. Second, he used the blue cup for white cup to fill pebbles.
What toys, materials, &/or furniture did the child use? How?
He used blue/red colors funnel, blue container and white container. He refused to sit on a chair.
How did the child communicate, including vocalizations, sounds, cries, babbling, words, facial expressions and gestures?
He tried to communicate with a girl who was sitting in his front. But, the girl complained to him because he filled the pebble into her container without her permission. He is too quiet and he sneezes two times. His facial expression is weak. So, he was sick at that time. His gestures looked unhappy in those days.
How did the child interacts with people?
He refused to accept the chair when his teacher asked him. He tried to help a girl who was sitting in his front to fill the pebbles into her container.
Anything else you notice.
He was sick and unhappy. So, the teacher needed to pay attention to his health. He was unhappy. Maybe he was sick. He is so quiet and attentive in his job.
Saying the boy was sick and unhappy is a biased assumption as we do not know his thoughts or his health circumstances. However, saying the boy is quiet and attentive to the activity is a proper observation.
Also, how do you know he is Asian, you can’t assume someone’s ethnicity by the way they look that is also biased.
The child I chose has tanned skin and is wearing a short sleeve light blue dress that has a puff on the bottom of it and has a pink heart design on it outlined by a white heart and other designs. She is wearing 3 bracelets on her left arm, two white, one pink. She has 2 spiral pigtails coming down her face, followed by another 2 behind them and loose short curly hair in the back. She is playing by a sensory table, filled with colorful beads. She is accompanied by a young boy whose name is peter, who is on the opposite side of the table playing. Next to peter is their teacher who is also engaging in play time while sitting on a blue chair and across from her is another little girl. The child I chose is slouched over the sensory table holding a clear container in her right hand and a purple scooper in her left hand. She’s using the clear container to scoop the colorful beads and pour them into the scooper. She does this about two times and when she attempts to fill it a third time she stops in action as peter takes the funnel he was playing with and pours the beads inside her scoop. She briefly looks at him before looking down at her scoop saying “Look at peter he’s using mine” while quickly glancing over to the teacher and back to him, with a quick smirk and back to her scoop as she proceeds to fill her scoop. She stops midway and reaches to peters funnel to pour the beads into it while saying “This yours”. She continues to go back to scooping and filling her overflowing scooper and releases the extra beads from the clear container onto the side of the girl next to her. She then empties her overflowing scoop back into the pile. She places the clear cup in her right hand while still holding her scoop and reaches in to grab a red tea cup with yellow trimming and filling that up to pour the beads into the clear container. She is distracted by the voice of her teacher as she looks behind her and drops the red cup in the table and moves away from her section with a look of “hurry” as her teacher says “here”. She then drops the clear container and purple scooper in a hurry and leaves the sensory table for a few seconds. She comes back to the table carrying a blue chair, from its back, close to her chest, and places it where she was previously standing. She has her right hand on the back of the chair, and places her left hand on the corner of the table as she carefully thinks about sitting down but pushes the chair back a little while resting both hands on the table and reaching to grab for the clear container in her right hand and purple scooper in the other. She fills the clear container with beads and sits up while pouring it into the purple scooper and emptying the scooper and starts to mumble about it being “medicine”. She goes back to fill her clear container and continues to talk to her class mates about “medicine” and tilts her head to see the beads over flow into the scoop. She looks over to what the girl next to her is doing in interest and turns back into looking at the table and begins to scoop. She then stands up, drops the container and reaches over the table and grabs a blue bowl that was next to peter and begins to fill it up. She begins to talk while scooping and pretends the beads are medicine. When the purple scoop is filled she tosses it out into the pile and begins to swing it around in the air, calmly while scooping and dumping from the blue bowl. She quickly slouches over the table to grab more beads before standing up and continues to fill her purple scoop and conversating with her classmates “This is how you put medicine in” and gains interest in how the girl next to her fills her item. She begins to fill her items up while slouched over, face closer to the beads and is caught by surprise “Hey I didn’t say you can put some in there” as peter pours his beads into hers and says “I’ll put some in my own” as looking over to the teacher and goes back to playing. She is concentrated and calm and loses concentration when she is distracted by something behind her and looks over her shoulder to see. Her attention is brought back to the table, and she rest most of her right side of the body on the table as she sits on the edge of the chair and begins to scoop again. She gets upset and yells “Hey, you’re taking from my spot” while standing and gathers beads from peters side into hers and say’s “my whole spot”. She then sits down and casually plays again. While looking at the other two girls play together with the larger funnel. She quickly fills her scooper and stands up in attempt to fill the girls funnel before they put it down. She continues to stand, while holding her full scoop and reaches over to peters side to grab the clear container she original had. She sits down and brings the scoop closer to her chest and fills it up
This was a very detailed observation was completely unbiased and descriptive, great work.
Hi taina
you emphasized in your observation every detail which could help to have a better analyze for the girl’s behavior, language and reactions. This way could help also to have a better understanding for the child. I am agreed that the more we know details about a child the more we gain a better understanding for him or her and thus provide the care and help that he or she needs. keep doing great job good luck.
The child I observed name was Peter. He was wearing a red short-sleeved shirt with a black long sleeve undershirt accompanied by black joggers. He had black straight hair and light-colored skin. Peter was engaged in the sensory table filling the funnel with pebbles. His first social interaction was with his peer across from him he uses his funnel to fill her measuring cup while she held it out in front of him. Peter then allows the girl to fill the funnel with more pebbles and lets them drop into the sensory bin. He continues to fill the funnel with the pebbles and never moves from standing in the same place near the sensory bin. He is not distracted although peeks when his female peers asked for chairs to sit near the sensory table. He uses the cup, funnels, measuring cup and his hands to manipulate the pebbles in the sensory table. He continues to fill and dump the pebbles with the manipulatives until the girl across from him tells him that he is taking all the pebbles. He drops the manipulatives and walks away without saying a word. I did not hear the boy speak or make eye contact with anyone around him he was very interactive with the tools supplied in the table that were accessible to him, but the teacher did not have any engagement with him except offering a chair in which he did not respond.
This a good response because it shows you listen and carefully watch
Hi Arelis,
your did a great job in your observation. I liked when you mentioned that he did not have eye contact and his interaction was with tools supplied. this will urge us as teacher to focus on helping children to develop their social interaction. keep doing a great job and good luck.
Hey Arelis Marie Elias
I’m Luis Martinez, certainly I as well noticed that the boy named Peter was not distracted by his surroundings throughout the duration of playtime, although he peeks a few seconds when his female peers asked for chairs to sit near the play box.I also notice that I did a mistake instead of referring the play box as the sensory table, I named it the play box.
My Child is a little boy he surrounded by children around his age and there a bookshelf in front of him and he is playing with a big red box fill objects like measuring cups, cones, and tubes, and colorful beads. The child is wearing a red sweater with black sleeves and has cartoons of cars as the graphic design in front. He short with smooth silk black hard that stops midway if his forehead and doesn’t go past his back. He is skinny and has caucasian skin. At the beginning of the video, he is being very quiet and looks very focus on the cone and tube toy and on the colorful beans. He interacts with a girl in the blue dress as she pours the beans through his cone and he pours beans into her cup she moves and other students come next to him he continues to play the beans and put them through his tube he watches them come done and picks a measuring cup and an empty cup he got from the girl in the blue dress and fills the blue cup and pours into the empty cup he overfills the clear cup and makes a little of mess and he cleans it males sure all the beans go back into the box after he sees he cleaned up what he has done he puts the blue measuring cup and touches his forehead as he was wiping sweat off and lifts his sweater up and walks away from the other children’s playing. I know notice that was quiet and very to himself through the video he looks very focused on what he was doing.
Hey Elianna, I like in the end of your observation you mentioned what happened when he walked away from the table. I didn’t think to mention that part and it shows you pay good attention to detail.
I chose the girl with blue dress, whit black curly and shirt hair. She has dark brown skin, wearing two bracelets in her left hand and a pink ring in her right hand. During my observation, the girl was smiling and communicative. She was playing in the square box using the white, purple, and red cups. I noticed that she is having a conversation with the girl next to her and she uses smooth adult language while she said, “yes baby”. While she is purring the little stones to fil up her cup the girl next to her expressed that she wanted a chair. The girl moved swiftly to bring a chair for herself. As she is continuing playing, the boy in front of her poured some little stones to her cup. She raised her voice on him and she said, “hee, I did not say put something here”. Her language this time did not seem smooth is rather seemed aggressive. Meanwhile she gazed on her left side even if she is looking someone or something. She was attracted by the two girl that they was playing together and she kept looking at them.
You are very good at observing. I did not notice the pink ring on her hand, I think I was focusing so much on the beads and what she was doing that I did not notice the ring.
The child I chose to observe was Peter. He is a small boy who is wearing a red short sleeve shirt, that has pictures of cartoon characters from the Cars movies, with a black long sleeve shirt underneath. His hair is black, straight, and is medium length. We first see Peter playing with a funnel attached to a tube and a measuring cup. He is repeatedly pouring the beads down the funnel and catching it in his cup. We see early on in the video that he is very quiet. He pours the beads in the funnel and brings it over to his classmate so the beads can fill up her cup. He allows her to pour some beads back into his funnel then goes back to his own cup. At one point there were so many beads in his funnel that it got stuck in the tube and was no longer spilling out. So Peter then gives it a hit and the beads start pouring out again. He leaves the cup down in the box and begins picking the beads up in his hand and putting them in the funnel. After a few times doing this he puts the funnel down and picks the cup back up. His classmate was finished with a tall cup that she was using so Peter picked it up and poured all his beads into the cup, then filling it up all the way. Peter then sneezes onto his hand and wipes his nose going back to playing. He swipes off all the extra beads and pats them so the cup has a smooth surface of beads. He fills his cup up again and pours some into his classmates cup. He uses his own cup to pick up beads again and again even though his cup is already full. Then finally he pours all the beads out of both of his cups. He drops one and uses the other cup to clean up all the beads that are on the edge of the box. After he is done with that he drops the cup and walks away from the play area. Peter didn’t use much facial expressions, sounds, or words throughout this. He interacted with the same student by filling up her cup with beads. The funnel was the first thing that attracted his interest, you can tell by the amount of times he was using it and watching the beads fall out the tube.
I chose the little girl in the blue dress, she has black curly hair, caramel skin. She has a pink and white bracelet. During this video she was playing with an activity table full of pebbles shovels and cups. She was playing with three other children and a caretaker. She was very engaged when playing with the pebbles. She paused to grab a chair and brought the chair back independently walking off sturdily. She then continued to play with the pebbles and shovels shaped like hearts. She was paying attention to the activity table but also attentive to what her classmates where doing, looking at their material. She was calling the pebbles “medicine” along with her classmates. She was talkative with everyone and spoke in full sentences. She was able to express frustration when saying “hey, I didn’t say to put some in there, I’ll put some on my own” to her classmate who was playing in front of her. Towards the end she shares her pebbles and acknowledges that she is also using her classmates pebbles. She interacts and communicates well with others.
I did not hear the part when the children were calling the pebbles medicine, I had to go back and then I heard it. You have good understanding of children !
I chose the brown skin little girl with curly hair. She is wearing a light blue dress with ruffles and two bracelets. In the beginning she is standing and playing and talking to the little Asian boy. She has a medium white cup (looks like a drinking cup) and a small purple cup (looks like a measuring cup) that she is filling with the beads. She lets the boy pour the beads in his funnel into the purple cup. Then she pours the beads she has in the white cup into his funnel. She then empties both cups of beads and picks up a little red cup. At that moment the teacher asked one student if they would like a chair. She said “I want a chair” , dropped the cups and went off to find a chair. She comes back with the chair, sits down and picks up the white and purple cups cup again and plays with the beads. She talks while scoping beads in the cups. When the boy puts his beads in her cup she says “hey I didn’t tell you to put some in there, I put some on my own. The boy scoops a lot of beads from the corner of the box next to her and she says “hey don’t take it from my spot” and scoops some beads in her direction. After that she stands up and keeps scooping the sand and looking around at her classmates and the classroom.
I chose the girl with the blue shirt on and black long sleeves. She is white and of normal built. She has brown wavy hair that is in two pig tails with a blue hair pin on top of each pig tail. She is at the sensory table with two other children and her teacher whom is across from her. She is holding a yellow funnel with her right hand and emptying it out into a clear tube until it overflows and her teacher states oh oh I think its over flowing. She noticed that the teacher got up and let another child sit in the chair the teacher was sitting on and then she wanted a chair as well. She places the tube and the funnel down as her teacher passes her the chair and they both place it on the floor and the young girl sits in the chair. She then picks up a cup with her left hand and filled tube with her other hand and smashes the things in the tube down with the cup. she then pours out the stuff from in the tube into the cup. then she places the funnel back on top of the tube and holds it in one hand while pouring the material from the cup into the funnel and then into the tube.
Hey Marilyn Jimenez
I”m Luis Martinez, nice I had a similar description that you wrote about the little girl, my response was the fallowing her hair color is between a mixture of brown and black, her hair is arranged in a long twisted(curly) side by side ponytails, her side by side ponytails are touching her shoulders. Both of her twisted curly ponytails are tied with a hair accessory. Instead of saying curly pig tails I refer them as side by side ponytails.
Child Observation
.
I chose the child who’s wearing a long black/blue long sleeve shirt with designs on it, and as well wearing a pair of navy-blue jeans/leggings. Her skin tone is like a warm peach color, her hair color is between a mixture of brown and black, her hair is arranged in a long twisted(curly) side by side ponytails, her side by side ponytails are touching her shoulders. Both of her twisted curly ponytails are tied with a hair garter. Her body composition is an average size. She is very calm while she is playing with the objects that are by her side and at the same time having a conversation with her classmates. During the observation I notice the girl grabbed a couple of objects (playing tools) that located by her side inside the play box. At first the teacher helped her filled up the playing cylinder with little colorful rocks. Then the teacher approach to her to give her a chair, in order for her to sit. Fallowed by the little girl grabbing another playing tube to filled it with the colorful little rocks. Then she kept refilling over and over the tube as well using other playing tools. The little rocks inside the container kept falling as she put them inside. Every playing tools found on the paly box had a hole at the bottom or an opening on sides. She helped one of her fellow classmates with filling the long tube with tiny rocks, then the tiny rocks fell into the play box. Overall, the little girl was entertained throughout the duration of play time, even though she interacted with her fellow classmates, she maintained her focus on the playing tools. At the beginning the little girl turns sideways to look for a chair, then she moved towards the right next her fellow classmate to grab a playing tool. Then she lifted her head up to see the chair coming towards her, the teacher brought the chair so that the girl can sit and play comfortable. Then then she bent down to place the chair in a good position, followed by moving sideways to find a comfortable position. Throughout the duration of playtime, she kept moving and standing up as she played with the playing tools. The child kept constantly looking at the playing tools, she switched the playing tools as loosed interest in one, but she then grabbed them again. The little girl seemed to be pleased and enjoying the time.
Module 2 Assignment # 4
1 Which child did you chose? Describe the child’s appearance (clothing, facial features, skin tone, hair color, hair texture, hair style, body type, etc.).
-I choose the (I think) female child in the blue dress with pictures on the front, she as black curly hair and some are in her face. Her head is facing downwards so I cannot rightly describe her face. The front of the child’s hair seems to catch in two and the rest is hanging down. Her skin tone is kind of brown completion.
2 What did the child do during the observation?
-The child is taking up some material in one container and pouring it in another. The child across from her poured material in her container and she did the same to his container. She left the area, returned with a chair, sat on it and continued pouring from container to container. At times she would get off the chair and reached over to get another container and continued pouring. She got up from the chair and stretched over to reach material and continued pouring.
3 How did the child move — include all types of movements?
-The child bent forward to reach the material, she held her head down most of the times, she looked to her left twice, she turned around and faced the direction where she went for the chair.
4 What did the child look at, gaze at?
-The child gazed at the material, containers and the pouring process. I do not know what she gazed at the two times she looked to her left. twice.
5 What seemed to attract the child’s interest? How can you tell?

After watching the video and learning about all children I decided to put my main focus on the young lady with the blue dress. To be more clear the light blue dress, Her skin tone was light. Black hair texture with curls. He hair was sectioned in 4 parts with ponytails in front, The rest was out hanging down. After observing I notice that she was playing in a box in a classroom with other classmates. She did different things while playing such as using her hands to play also moving back and forth using items out of the chest. She also used different cups as items of use of playing. She interacted with some of her classmates but also started to engage with someone else that was older in age in her and began to watch the others play.
Boy’s observation.
I chose to observe a boy. He has a red pull and a black sleeve shirt underneath. He has a haircut and the texture of his hair is straight and slick. Most probably he is Chinese or Korean.he is around 4 years old and his body size is average and normal. He is playing with three other girls in a square box filled with colorful pebbles. In his hand, he holds a rubber hose tied to a rope with a clamp, in which he is pouring colored sand from a small pot with his other hand. He first pours the sand at his friend, then the girl returns the action. He is careful not to touch the sand from the hose, then throws the filled glass back into the tension. It is done several times, which he does with remarkable calmness and patience, as he seems to enjoy it. He cares for doing it properly by hand pressing the tension and controlling that the colored sands are properly sewn into the cup. The teacher offers him a chair, but he quietly refuses and continues to measure and pour the colored sands. He fills the glass well by hand for a few seconds, then takes a new item, a long, white plastic sump, and fills it with sand. He adds twice as much sand to fill the plastic sump, then he snoozes. He did not give up playing despite sneezing, he doesn’t cover his face with his hands, and doesn’t stand aside to save faces of others. He adds and corrects the filled sum again, at which point he sneezes again, this time his right hand slightly covering his face, perhaps because he had his hand close to his face, or he just remembered that he had to cover his face when he sneezed. He continues to play and pours colored sand at the girl sitting across from him, but the girl does not like it and rebukes him. The remark did not offend, again he is quietly continuing the game. Now, he is making a long circle with the sump to fill it with sand. Most of the sand in his area was as if he had finished the game and started clearing the sand and pouring it back into the box. He also put the jam back in the box with which he was collecting the sand, turned it to the right, and then he left the sandy play area after housekeeping. It was as if he had yawned and then went to the other side. This will stop the shot on the boy. The boy left me with the impression of a balanced, calm and orderly child.
