Black or white fallacy is a restricted logical way of thinking that leaves no room for other options. Problem solving, analyzing, and decision-making are not always clear cut. Thinking outside the box or gray thinking helps you better assess situations, ideas, or create better judgement. Ex. of black or white fallacy is this or that, either or, or apples and oranges mindset.

Hi Precious, I like the example you used at the end. I see this fallacy used a lot especially on social media. It is used everywhere, I guess. I use it when making decisions because I can be pretty indecisive at times. The apples and oranges one is a big one! Or the apple juice and orange juice one haha!
