Karla Pena DCB 7 Appeal to nature Fallacy.

Appeal to nature

Definition: Making the argument that because something is “natural” it is, therefore, valid, justified, inevitable, good, or ideal.

Example: “Artificially flavored drinks are unnatural therefore they are bad for you”

“This orange juice is 100% natural therefore is good for you”

My own definition: When something is stated to be good because it is considered to be natural, or terrible because it is seen to be unnatural.
