I live in southernmost part of New York City, called Staten Island. Staten Island is known for green parks my neighborhood is excellent it offers us a lot of convenience. There is a green park , clove lake park situated in my neighborhood that make our location noticeable . It is bigger in size with lots of trees and lawns and a have beautiful lake inside. I am often goes to that park for walking. The fresh air makes me feel happy in addition, that park have couple of public gym equipment's and special children park, and fishing is allowed in lake. when comes to food, we have wide variety of cuisines restaurant that available most of the evening it gets busy. I often different varieties , and have variety shops include farmers market . Easy accessible for fresh foods and vegetables. One shop that always my favorite's is "cookie jar " is known for famous cookies they bake the cookies in that store and is very delicious. One thing is very famous in my neighborhood is Staten Island ferry ride. It is a free ferry ride to Staten Island to lower Manhattan that beautiful ride is around statue of liberty and able to see big building in lower Manhattan, and very is convenient for me from my house. Close to my house there is 2 churches, blessed sacrament catholic church and salvation army church. That 2 churches looks very old and lot of people visit during Sunday services, there is a catholic school belongs to that church. Most of the houses and buildings are not to old and modernized houses. Especially my street that called forest Ave, is mostly famous for parades during Veterans day and St. Patrick's day. It is started 56 years ago on Richmond Terrace. It starting from Hart Boulevard and End point in port Richmond. It happening First Sunday in march. Each year after 09:30 am, mass at Blessed sacrament R C Church and singing of lady of Knock. March are set up, touch base with NYPD and parks Department. Neighborhood building and house are mostly new architect styles, some of the houses are ninety models. Overall neighborhood architect are modernized. Neighborhood needs some community events, and neighborhood party. Also would say needs more public thrashes. I love my neighborhood, it's very nice and peaceful place to live.
