The graph indicated that crime’s are being committed due to the increase of population, unemployment , and poverty.

The data look accurate because fort green is a diverse/minority neighborhood and it was affordable for low/median income families. However, over the decade rent’s been going up forcing people who were in the area to move around to look for affordable home. Due to this the rate of white population has increase drastically.

The rate of Homicide offenses by population following the United States trends are higher than the the New York trends. The United States trends also increased over the decade. However, homicide’s rate following New York trends were decreasing over the decade until 2020. This may be due to the outbreak of Covid-19.
