I am surprised by this data because the homicide numbers for my precinct are pretty low and I thought they were going to be higher due to the cause that there are a couple of gangs around the neighborhood. The advantage of looking at official crime data is that you get to measure how safe or dangerous your neighborhood is compared to other neighborhoods.
