Welcome to Week 8!

Dear students,

We are halfway through this course. Congratulations on making it this far. We have learned quite a bit about various theories in Criminology. This week we will discuss the works of W.E.B. DuBois, the pioneering criminologist. While he is not customarily identified as a criminologist, but many of his writings included discussions about race and crime. Learn all about his contributions to criminology in Week 8 unit.

There will be another discussion forum this week – https://openlab.bmcc.cuny.edu/crj-102-0505-criminology-professor-satenik-margaryan-fall-2021/2021/10/17/discussion-forum-8-criminology-of-w-e-b-du-bois/

Please let me know if you have any questions by asking the question in class on ZOOM, during my office hours, or by email at smargaryan@bmcc.cuny.edu
