The social disorganization theory is the pattern by which connections within a community are complicated. Disturbance runs through broken areas in neighborhoods in which builds the uprising of delinquency and culture that allows the acts of violence to come about and approves any criminality in this disorganized cultural setting. For Tommy Shakur Ross through his life it was the same cultural broken setting that was glamorized through gangs and criminal activity to which to him he wanted to be apart of something. At 13 years old three gang members came up to shakur asking him where he’s from and proceeded to try and scare him he fled and was terrified and felt humiliated, that’s when he decided to join a gang , he hanged around and individual who was close to him whom was apart of the “ Eight Trey Gang”. he was influenced by his peers and wanted “ ghetto fame “ fighting in school , stealing cars , robbing people, he wanted to emulate his older peers and establish himself as a level above beyond them and what they can do he saw how the lifestyle was and became obsessed to be accepted and accomplished as this ghetto star image he had in his mind at that point of his life. To scaling the criminal gang ladder from the age of 13 to 19 he was at the height of his ghetto fame until the day September 2nd of 1985 happened Tommy Shakur Ross who goes by “ Joker” was at a liquor store when a rival gang member came into the liquor store and offended Shakur making him go outside to his car and retrieve his weapon and shot and killed the rival gang member who goes by Stanford Bursey. four days later a retaliation attack happened and shakurs mother and brother were murdered. Innocent people were killed prior to who shakur killed , he pursed revenged and fortunately September the 15th shakur was arrested. He was only 19 years old. Shakur was caught up in the culture of gang violence and lifestyle it made him impulsive and obsessed with the ghetto fame and all his influences were his peers and the area he was born in , 31 years later in prison he has changed for the better for killing someone’s son and has held the responsibility for having his mother and brother murdered occurred.
Good work, Lesly. Insightful.

As we know well today once being involved in prison or gang activity it is extremely hard to release that path of life you have chose.
