Summary
A fallacy is a mistake in reasoning or an error in an argument. It's when someone's argument sounds right, but if you pay attention, you'll realize there's a problem with the way they're saying it. It's like a little trick that makes things seem true even when they're not.
Example from the list: emotion appeal.
An emotion appeal is when someone tries to make you feel a strong emotion like fear or happiness to convince you of something, instead of giving you good reasons to believe them.
Poster above: The poster is using the image of a crying child and the words "he is starving we are not" to make you feel sad or guilty. It's saying that the child doesn't have enough food, but you do. The idea is to encourage you to help the child by donating food or money, or by taking some action to make a difference. It's trying to show the contrast between the child's suffering and your situation to persuade you to help out.

Hi Khar ,
I like how you explained what a fallacy is first and then explained yours. The addition of the picture helps understand your example further it helps see the example in sort of real time especially because a picture can say 1000 words. Thanks!
