… by replying to my post, if you’d like to receive my feedback, in addition to your classmates via the peer review. This way, you can see what your classmates, have posted. Also, I will comment on your outlines here, so please check back next week/ after the due date/ March 29th.
Here is what I suggest:
Topic:
Intro: (hook, intro to topic, thesis statement)
Premise 1:
Supporting Evidence:
Premise 2:
Supporting Evidence:
Premise 3/ Opposing Viewpoint:
Supporting Evidence:
Conclusion: (paraphrase your thesis, and explain why this topic matters)
Please note that your essay can have more than 3 body paragraphs, and feel free to include more than 3 premises–either way, this will be a base for your draft.

Joan–thanks for posting. This looks like a draft–how about an outline? What I’m most interested here is the structure of your argument.

Elliet–same comment as above: thanks for posting but what I see here is your essay draft, not your outline, and it’s the latter that I’d like to see to provide feedback on the structure of your argument.

OUTLINE FOR CRT 100
Manveer: thanks for posting your work here. Is your conclusion the last line in your intro?
“Restricting access to abortion can lead to unsafe and illegal procedures, endangering women’s health, and lives.”
If so, it would be helpful to see this stated clearly in your outline, as you do with your premises. Also, I am not sure if your premises support this conclusion. What I’d expect to see in your premises is how and why restricting access to abortion leads to unsafe procedures. You have some of this info in there, but not clearly stated in the premises. Think of your premises as mini-claims, and for each premise return to your conclusion and ask yourself if the premise supports it.

Thanks, Mariia, and this looks excellent. Your conclusion is clear and your premises are clearly stated as well. The premises support your conclusion, as they address the how and why questions as they relate to your argument about nursing shortages. My only possible concern is about premise 2: you may be trying to tackle too much in one paragraph? It may be worth it to select 1-2 of the issues to focus on.
