Critical thinking simplified to me is how the first author says it is , a critical thought.A very deep thought that can be analyzed and interpreted deeper and better the more it is discussed or thought of.It can also be taking an interpretation and taking it to the next level with more analysis.The first author describes critical thinking a way of being able to analyze how different perspectives think on a topic and also how that thought can be evaluated and analyzed deeper and deeper. The second author describes critical thinking as making new connections in thinking critically of that thought or idea.I think both authors deeply believe that critical thinking is an important tool to further understand and learn more about how different people think.
