Need help finding a COIL partner?

Fill out this form by November 15th and I will do my best to assist you! https://forms.gle/JTodPFhJbRR9MTmUA

This is specifically for faculty who would like to prepare a COIL project for fall 2021. We have started to have COIL conversations with a few schools abroad, so I can share your goals with them, but also make sure to start your own partner search as the best partner may come from your own network: https://openlab.bmcc.cuny.edu/coil/finding-a-partner/

The conference focuses on the theme of Critical Transnational Dialogue and Virtual Exchange. You can see the sessions and register for free here: https://l2dl.arizona.edu/l2dl-2020-virtuals/

Franco-American COIL Opportunity

The French Embassy in the U.S. and the Face Foundation are working to support Franco-American higher education partnerships while study abroad is disrupted. They aim to help develop virtual exchange opportunities that ultimately promote study abroad. Funding is up to $7500 for the project. The project must be carried about before Sept. 2021.

Let me know if you’re interested and I can help you apply! Email me: jlevin@bmcc.cuny.edu.

Faculty are encouraged to submit a project to the call for proposals no later than October 30th (selection is on a rolling basis). Details and the application form are available on the website of the Face Foundation.

If you are looking for a partner, join their LinkedIn group and share your partner search with peers.

Welcome!

This is a space for faculty to learn and connect around COIL, or Collaborative Online International Learning. Explore the different tabs and consider adding COIL to one of your courses this fall or spring.

If you’d like to discuss more, reach out to Jessica Levin, Experiential Learning and Study Abroad Manager: jlevin@bmcc.cuny.edu
