Faculty Survey ResponsesIn Fall 2025 and Spring 2026, a group of BMCC faculty and staff participated in the AAC&U 2025-26 Institute on AI, Pedagogy, and the Curriculum. Last fall, we distributed a survey to ask BMCC faculty about their attitudes about and experiences with Gen AI. In this post, we share key results from the 220 faculty respondents.
- The Bridge Between Language and Culture: Learning Through Study AbroadTo truly learn a language is to step into the culture and the values that shape it. My experience leading students taking courses abroad has confirmed that immersion is the essential bridge connecting language to its cultural context.
