Collaborate with the Atomic Habits Book Club

Have a Book You’re Passionate About? Let’s Explore It Together!

How to Suggest a Book and Get Involved

  1. Suggest a Book:
    • Choose a book that aligns with our mission of personal growth, habit formation, or any other topic that could spark engaging discussions and self-reflection.
    • Think about why this book would be valuable for our community and what key lessons or themes it offers.
  2. Create a Few Blog Posts:
    • Write a brief overview or summary of the book, highlighting its main concepts and why they matter.
    • Develop 2-3 initial blog posts that introduce key chapters or sections of the book. Each post should include a summary, discussion questions, and a personal reflection prompt.
    • Suggest any additional resources or activities (like worksheets or habit trackers) that could accompany each post.
  3. Reach Out to Us:
    • Send your book suggestion and draft blog posts to BEC@bmcc.cuny.edu (mention the Business Club) or directly to rsnipes@bmcc.cuny.edu.
    • Include a brief introduction of yourself and explain why you’re excited about this book. If you’re a faculty member, feel free to share how you’ve used the book in your teaching.
  4. Collaborate on the Launch:
    • Once your book is selected, we’ll work with you to finalize the blog posts, create additional content, and launch the book as part of our online book club.
    • You’ll have the opportunity to engage with readers in the comments section, answer questions, and guide discussions around your chosen book.
