Something that everyone can do is create a video advocating for our children to get the education that they deserve.
- Make a small script or bullet points so you can be organized.
- Find a place to record.
- Use a phone, laptop, tablet, camcorder, anything that can record to make the video.
- Review the video to see if you properly hit all the point you wished to hit.
- Post it on social media.
- Share it. Show your friends, coworkers, or family and ask them to share it with those the think the video will resonate with.
Another small act of advocacy almost anyone can do is make a website outlining the problem, similar to this one.
- Find a site that allows you to make a website, preferably one that lets you sign up for free but you can spend money if you want to.
- Either look up tutorials or use the website’s built in “Help” system to get a better understanding creating your website.
- Once you have your bearings, make blogposts, research, new findings, concerns, FAQ’s, anything to make the website as interactive as you want.
- Publish the site.
- Share the website on social media.
