1. I learned from the article the lack of literacy in the Middle East and its effects on the people and how much change could happen like more teachers creating more jobs and schools and libraries could be built to better educate them. And how many women work in agriculture about 88 percent of them.
2. I learned from the videos that what I perceive of someone or some other country is probably wrong and that what I’m told through media and word of mouth could probably be wrong if I don’t do my own research and have better knowledge.
3. The article informed how smaller countries have higher literacy. also discusses how where there is lower literacy, there is a shorter average lifespan. And in Yemen adult literacy was at 49% in 2002 and 57 years of life expectancy. And in Jordan, the highest literacy rate was at 91% of adults being literate. And it just shows how much literacy impacts a nation.
