Dear Ms. Adichie
After watching your TedTalk “we should all be feminist” make me realize that everyone has their own concept on what is being a feminist and we should all respect that, but I still believe that having a mentality were women is supposed to be home it is just irrational. So, I believe we should all fight for gender equality especially in country were their mentality revoke to centuries ago, where women needed to stay in the kitchen while the men work, like our culture. Your tedtalk made me realize how our culture suppress women to believe they should stay in the house just doing the house chores, and how men need to provide for women. Even though I am not African, I know how you feel, I know how these situations drag you down and how every day your hope that everyone should be treated the same goes down because I am Latina, and my culture has taught me that men are superior then women. When in reality we should believe that women are capable of doing the same work and everything that men do.
