How to make hard choices by Ruth Chang

Question # 3 For Chang a, ” Hard choices are hard not because of us or as ignorance; they’re hard because there is no “best option”?(2)What doesShe mean? why does a “best”option make the choice easier?

Hard Choices are hard because of all the things it puts into question from how it will affect us to how it will affect the people around us. Any choice especially the hard ones can come to even be life changing that’s why they are hard, because you never know if it would be for the better or for the worse. A choice can seem good at first but can always take a rough turn it being emotionally, physically, mentally, financially etc. there are many factors to take into consideration when making a hard choice which might eventually make it harder. When Chang says “there is no best option” she refers to how each portion is good in there own ways as well as bad in its own ways especially depending on the person because something good to someone might be something bad for the next. The best option is easier to go with because When making hard choices we tend to go with the best option to us that is most likely the option we feel more comfortable with because of fear to go outside our comfort zone and take a leap to the unknown and going with what we know most about and makes us debate less we tend to think it’s the “best” option.
