The danger of a single-story was writing by a Nigerian author Chimamanda Adiche. Chimamanda grew up on a university campus in the western part of Nigeria all Adiche read at her young was British and American books. She gets inspire by what she read and starts writing what she read about in those books. The characters in her book are white people with beautiful blue eyes she also gets influents to drink ginger since that what some of the characters in her books drink. Adiche later discovers African book. Her school roommate was surprised how she was able to speak a good English because she knows only one side of Africa like john locked who see African as beast not humans. The people are ignorant to know both side of a story instead they will judge people from a single story which can lead into stereotyping. Her American professor was also very ignorant saying that her writing does not sound like Africa because they drove cars and not starving.

In RESPOND, I agree with Chimamanda the danger of a single story is that it can lead to tunefulness, dispute of understanding and different for that reason we should story to look other people as much story as ourselves. We should also be overly caution of a single Stoy and recognize that them as exactly they are. When we are let go of the close mindset that we have we become more openminded .As someone who is from people ignorant and tend to have a lot of mis assumption about Africa and most of the third world continent or countries and most people will continue to be this way so when listen to a single story can lead us in a wrong direction or the way we view thing I remember this asking my mom on the store asking her if African people sleep in the tree and that lady is not even a white person but a black lady which is very surprising because I did not expect that to come from a black person mouth..
