My name is Dazne Gomez, I was born in Colombia (2004) I arrived in this country 3 years ago, it is my second semester at BMCC I study Video Arts and Technology, I really like everything that is related to entertaining, in my spare time I like with my friends or with my dog and watch series
Since I was little I always liked to read, in elementary school I read a lot I also wrote, I even won a poetry contest at my school, my school always had this program to encourage young people to read more, I liked mystery books and this book in I specified that I read “the story of fire” over and over again. I asked my parents to buy me books, but this love for books became smaller when I entered middle school, I remember that they did not let me read books of my interest and I found it very boring and tedious, just like with writing, I always had teachers who taught their own interests and did not allow the interest of the student to be explored, I read the same book several times in High School, same works, this made me bored and I will not continue with this, I am also quite distracted, which made it difficult to concentrate on something that was not of interest to me, but now I am trying to improve and read a little more
