Summary
Dear student,
Being out of your element can be uncomfortable, but as humans we get used to starting new beginnings. Coming into college, you want to do it right but don’t know how to, and I can help to that. College can be expensive, buying your books are a drag. Your campus will have a book store, but before you take the obvious choice, search for the book on different websites. Third party websites sometimes have the book you need in PDF, and now you saved money. Another advice I would love to give is, it’s okay to not know what you want to do. You think you know what career you want to pick up, but when you see all those majors laid out in front of you. You feel like you put yourself in a box, and now you aren’t so sure about your choice. And that’s perfectly normal , you have enough time to figure out what you want to be: being a liberal art major will give you that choice to spread your wings. Also, lastly &’ most important advice is: pace yourself! College is a marathon, and if you rushing and trying to finish across the finish line you will crumble. College is hard work already, if you trying to pick up a heavy workload thinking it will be easy, but your last memory of school was high school. We took 4-5 classes right ? Can’t be hard. But you’re WRONG! it’s harder the more classes you pick up, and some people can’t afford to fail. This is your career and your life. Once you go in your own pace, and do everything right and you will finish that race and you will be proud ! Take your time, and work with you, not against you.
