The author describes how she had thought writing was one of her strengths and one of her better abilities. She enjoyed writing just as much as she had enjoyed math. This really made the author to be genially confused on the reason for her failing the writing portion not one but two times. The author feels like the people who are grading the standardized test don’t know what a good writing really is, which is the reason she thinks that she continues to fail. If I were the teacher and I saw that the student/author was really upset on why she didn’t get the passing grade I would’ve given her some type of feedback that would make her do better the next time she retook the test. There have been multiple where I have doubted my abilities from sports to in the classroom, I just never thought I would be able to do it. I feel like my writing abilities are good sometimes it just depends on what I am discussing.
