Dear new students,
Welcome to community college! I wanted to share some advice with you: Keep a mindset and clear goals for yourself, don’t hesitate to ask for help when you need it to manage your time effectively, get involved in campus activities, explore opportunities for transferring to other institutions if that’s something you’re interested and making good use of the resources available to you build relationships with fellow students. Some resources are writing labs or centers, professor office hours, and career development groups. Embrace any challenges that come your way with a positive and adaptive attitude and stay curious about learning things. Above all else, thoroughly enjoy this journey during your time at community college, as it will pave the way for a future ahead.
