Explains he was living in New Delhi in 2015, running a product development company with two of his friends. As time went on, Singh and his friends realized they have separate goals in life that want to achieve. Feeling lost, from starting over Singh went to his uncle for guidance and was told “give Canada a shot”. Having that thought stuck in his mind, years went by and Singh finally saved up enough money for his first year tuition Confederation College in Thunder Bay to study engineering technology. Singh left for Canada in 2018. Prior to traveling to Canada, Singh rented a room in Thunder Bay through facebook marketing. When Singh finally arrived, he was informed that it’s no more rooms, devastated by the answer he received. He convinced the land lord to allow him to sleep on the living room floor for a few days until he figures it out, which the land lord obliged. It was hard finding a place to live so last minute, especially since people wasn’t comfortable with immigrants living in their home. But Singh ended up finding housing, for 1,300 a month. To pay the rest of his his degree, he juggled 3 minimum wage jobs. He ended up getting a break, when he united with his girlfriend Jasmine. Singh started watching videos about immigration on Social Media, one day he decided to email a YouTuber to ask some questions, they YouTuber emailed him back and one thing led to another. Singh was invited to his channel to talk about him coming to Canada, the video got up to 40,000 views. Singh started to receiving messages from immigrants all around the world. Jasmine encouraged Singh to start a YouTube channel, which he started in July 2021, took a free editing course and got started. In October 2021 Singh posted a video about the three intake periods in Canada for international students, few other YouTubers made their own comments about the video and the video went viral with over 600,000 views. Over time, more questions was asked and he answered as much as he can. Four years went by, jasmine and Singh is married, his channel got 250,000 subscribers. “With my channel, I can use my experience to help other immigrant plan for their new lives.
