Deysi Calixto Conversation 2

Summary

The author Chimamanda Ngozi ,Adichie shows in her books she talks about the differences of culture. She talks about her childhood in the book how when she was in Nigeria there was poor conditions not all people had food. Adichie mom said “Finish your food! Don’t you know? People like Fride’s family have nothing. This shows that Adichie mom is telling her that it’s a good thing she has food because not all people have food or can afford it. In Nigeria some places don’t have food which shows the decrease that not many people can have the same things as other which shows how culture works by some people can eat other types. When Adichie came to the U.S she had a roommate where she talks about the situations in Africa how the education is poor since there is hard conditions. The author includes about identity which she explains how her new identity is being African. I think that this shows us that where ever we come from we all show more of that which makes us different people that come from different perspectives. She talks about that in Africa she will always have the same connection as she had it during her childhood.

I think that living in New York people may think it’s a good place to go visit or whatever the circumstances are. But New York is made up of positive and negative things. The reason is the positive would be that there are lot of places where people can enjoy themselves as well as get to know others. The negative would how the population in people being homeless does increase every year which I think that most New Yorkers are in the look out since some can be dangerous or how almost everywhere you walk there is a group of garbage where can be on people way. I think that New York can be clean but it should be the whole congress that should take care of all this. Sometimes living in New York can also cause lot of stress to us since everyday we all got work then we take care of other things which repeats everyday for some. Overall living in New York gives us all the courage to reach the standards we want to get there in life.
